  • Opening Prayer

Heavenly Father, open my eyes that I may see, open my ears that I may hear, open my heart that I may feel, and open my mind that I may perceive and understand what You want to teach me. Guide me by the Holy Spirit into the truth of your word. Give me wisdom to trust and obey You today. In the name of Jesus I pray.

It is important that as Disciples we invite and include God in our pursuit of growing in faith and knowledge. Based on these scriptures: Matthew 13:13-16, Acts 26:17-18, and Isaiah 6:9-10, you are encouraged to pray this prayer, or one similar, before you open the Word of God or any lesson that you want to be quickened and enlightened in your understanding. God bless your pursuit of Him!

The Omnipotence of God

Tuesday (September 15, 2026) - Focus: Theology

Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee: - Jeremiah 32:17
The God who spoke the stars into existence and sustains the physics of the entire universe is the same God who oversees your life. Jeremiah's prayer reminds us that there is nothing 'too hard' for the Lord. Our perspective is often limited by our current circumstances and our finite understanding, leading us to believe that certain doors are closed forever or certain hearts are beyond reach. But omnipotence means that the barriers we see as insurmountable are merely opportunities for the Lord to demonstrate His sovereignty.

Identify the situation that feels impossible right now. Whether it is a relational stalemate a financial crisis or a spiritual battle bring it before the Creator of heaven and earth. Remember that He is not limited by your resources or your timeline. When you pray with the knowledge of His omnipotence your requests transition from expressions of panic to declarations of trust. He is the God of the impossible—let your prayer today reflect that confidence.

What are Daily Prompts?

Pexels fallon michaelDaily prompts are designed to be your essential guide for spiritual growth, transforming passive reading into active, life-changing discipleship. Each day, you will engage with a specific focus and theme, grounded directly in scripture . This is followed by a thought-provoking question prompt to encourage practical application, a clear action step and next step to guide your spiritual growth, and a relevant resource link directing you to explore further learning.

This structured approach ensures that faith development remains a daily priority, fostering intentional training, discipline, habit, and consistent effort rather than leaving spiritual maturity to chance. We highly encourage you to embrace this daily challenge, knowing that this consistent discipline will profoundly deepen your communion with God, build lasting spiritual resilience, and equip you to share His love with the world.
