Scripture: But if all prophesy, and there come in one that believeth not, or one unlearned, he is convinced of all, he is judged of all: And thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest; and so falling down on his face he will worship God, and report that God is in you of a truth. – 1 Corinthians 14:24-25

Prophetic evangelism is the practice of listening to the Holy Spirit to offer a word of truth that is specifically meant for the person standing in front of you. It isn’t about grand predictions, but about letting God reveal a ‘secret of the heart’—a specific truth about His love or His awareness of their situation—that cuts through skepticism. When God reveals that He knows someone’s heart, it often leaves them breathless, forced to admit that ‘God is in you of a truth.’ It is the most direct way to bypass intellectual resistance.

Today as you interact with others ask the Holy Spirit for sensitivity. Is there a word of encouragement a specific truth or a question you should ask that addresses their deepest need? Don’t be afraid to be led by the Spirit in your conversations. A simple, divinely inspired word can do more in seconds than an hour of debate. Be willing to be the vessel through which God speaks His love to a world that desperately needs to know He is watching and caring.
