Mentoring Others
Discipleship S.T.E.P.S.: Practice
Scripture: Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. – 1 Timothy 4:12 (KJV)
Mentorship is a vital part of the Christian life, ensuring that the baton of faith is passed securely from one person to another. Paul’s instruction to Timothy reminds us that our influence is not tied to our age or status, but to our character as an example of the believers. When we invest in others, we are not just teaching them facts; we are demonstrating what it looks like to live out the Gospel in the real world.
Who in your circle is looking for guidance or simply needs a voice of encouragement? Being a mentor can be as simple as asking good questions sharing your own struggles and victories or praying with someone consistently. By intentionally pouring into one person’s life you participate in the divine work of spiritual multiplication strengthening the Church one relationship at a time.
