Discipleship S.T.E.P.S.: Share

Scripture: And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. – Mark 16:15 (KJV)

The Great Commission is not just for far-off lands; it begins in our own neighborhoods, schools, and workplaces. Being a witness means recognizing that the people you see every day are the specific mission field God has placed you in. Outreach doesn’t always require a grand event; it begins with the intentionality of building relationships, offering help, and being ready to articulate the hope that you have in Jesus.

When was the last time you shared the Gospel in your community? Don’t wait for a perfect moment or a platform; look for the openings God provides through everyday conversations and acts of kindness. Be a bold representative of the Kingdom right where you are trusting that the Holy Spirit is already at work in the lives of those you encounter. Your proximity to them is no accident; it is a divine appointment.

Prompt: How are you actively sharing the Gospel with those in your immediate community?

Action Step: Sharing our faith extends beyond our immediate context; we are called to a global mission, starting locally.

Next Step: Pray for one person in your neighborhood who does not know Christ, and ask for an opportunity to share the Gospel with them.
