Generosity

Scripture: Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. – 2 Corinthians 9:7 (KJV)
True generosity is a profound statement of faith that proves we believe God is more trustworthy than our bank accounts. When we give ‘not grudgingly’ but with cheer, we are demonstrating that we understand the Gospel—the ultimate act of divine generosity where God gave His own Son for our redemption. Our giving should be a joyful response to that grace, an acknowledgement that all we have comes from His hand and belongs to His Kingdom.
Examine your heart regarding your giving: is it a burden a duty or a delight? A cheerful giver is someone who has been captured by the grace of God and is eager to see that grace extended through their resources. Today take a step of faith in your stewardship knowing that your generosity is a tangible way to declare your dependence on the Provider and your love for His mission.
Prompt: How does your financial generosity reflect your belief in the Gospel and God's provision?
Action Step: Sharing involves holding our resources loosely and giving generously to support the work of the Kingdom.
