Hiding sin is exhausting; it creates a barrier in our fellowship with God and breeds fear and shame in our hearts. God’s invitation to confess is not a request for information—He already knows what we’ve done—but an invitation to restoration. When we confess, we are agreeing with God about our sin, and in that agreement, we find the ‘faithful and just’ forgiveness that washes us clean. The faster we run to the Cross, the less ground the enemy has to work with.
Is there something you are trying to keep in the dark today? Drag it into the light. Don’t wait for the guilt to overwhelm you; turn to Christ immediately. There is no sin too great for His blood and no heart too broken for His touch. Experience the freedom that comes from being fully known and yet fully forgiven. His grace is bigger than your secret.
