Boldness

Scripture: The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion. – Proverbs 28:1

Righteousness is not merely a moral standard; it is a position of alignment with the Creator of the universe. When we walk in obedience to His Word, we shed the weights of secret compromise and fear that typically plague the conscience. The wicked flee because they are haunted by the discord between their lives and the truth, but the righteous possess the stability of a clean heart and a clear mission. Boldness, therefore, is the natural byproduct of a life that has nothing to hide and everything to gain in Christ.

Today, do not view your pursuit of holiness as a burden of restrictions but as a source of courage. When your life is anchored in the righteousness of Christ, you can stand firm against the pressures of the world. You do not have to look over your shoulder because your path is illuminated by His grace. Walk with the confidence of a lion, not because of your own strength, but because you are standing on the solid ground of a life lived for Him.
